Nokia 2680s On Off button switch solution
This solution may help fix Nokia 2680 slide On off key malfunction.
Note this solution can be applied if the flex cable is working okay or having tried replacing a new one but the on off key wont work and it shows charging indication on the LCD display when the battery charger is plug-in.
From the keypad pin connector there is a resistor that has a 0 ohms resistance value. You may need to check this resistor if open, replacing it or shorting it may fix the problem

if you have a Nokia Asha 311 dead they may can have a power switch on off problem so please in first step plug in a charger and if Nokia Asha 311 is charging proper and well but not getting on it means the main problem can be power switch on off fault.

so for this you have to change power switch button on off button in Nokia Asha 311 if prints are also damge in Nokia Asha 311 for on off button then here is a full path and track for power switch button in diagram that is attached with this post so check all this path and track for power switch on off button in Nokia Asha 311 and if any of these links broken than make these jumpers as shown in diagram with red line while blue color is indicated for ground print.

I have marked both Camera button legs jumpers points, the Black legs
are ground points. Only make these jumpers if you have damaged the
prints of the the Camera Key but if the soldering prints are fine and
your Camera Button is not working replace the button with a new one
